Hello Mike and 4PawsOnWheels family…
…I first apologize for taking so long to get this letter out to you and I sure hope to find it on your website some time in the future.
I had an extremely short time period in which to get my beloved Great Dane, Ava, shipped out to me as I moved from California to Georgia. In trying to arrange getting a crate for a flight, I found out that not only did Ava HATE CRATES, I could not get my hands on one to transport her before my departure. Which, by the way, I was going to use Continental Airlines.
After seeing her reaction in even entering a crate, even with the top off, I knew this wasn’t going to work for her. I had called several ground transportation carriers and most were either booked or exceeded my limited budget.
Mike from 4PawsOnWheels called me on my last day trying to pull it all together. Although he could not pick her up for a couple of days, he was able to do it within budget and get her to me quickly and ensuring that all would go well. He not only picked her up at the kennel where I had to leave her; he also picked up some medication, her bed, blankets, feeder, food and misc. other items as I could not take all on the plane.
Mike was delayed due to a snafu with another transport…a doggie had been lost on a flight and Mike was able to locate him. He picked up Ava the day after and kept me abreast the entire trip. Ava was pretty traumatized being dropped off at the kennel as I have never had to board her since becoming her owner (she is 5 y/o). She did not eat her first two days in boarding but eventually settled in. After Mike handled all the particulars in picking her up, they were on their way and he said Ava was just stunning and behaved well, traveled well, ate well, pottied well and slept well.
On his trip here he had a couple of pick-ups and drop-offs and said Ava just played with everyone and spent a good part of her time guiding the driver on the the road by resting her head on their shoulder. I was so relieved at how well she did…
I was so excited upon her arrival…it was 1 day shy of a week since I had seen her and when I got the text that he was 5 miles away…I could barely hold myself still. I walked out to greet her and there she was, hanging out next to the driver…I called her name and it was lots of kisses and tears (my tears). She was not only safe but very happy.
He had a couple of other passengers that hopped out and took a little pottie break…Ava played a little and was eager to spend time with me and meet her extended family.
We are moving into our permanent home this week and I want to thank Mike, his team, and 4PawsOnWheels for such a fantastic job. I think I might have hugged and kissed Mike 2 or 3 times.
I highly recommend 4PawsOnWheels to get your beloved pet to their destination. He is reliable and keeps you abreast of their location and any changes that may occur. He will go above and beyond to make sure your pet gets to your home safely. If I ever need to transport a pet again…I will certainly go to 4PawsOnWheels first.
I truly wish I could say more about how happy I am with the service he provided…even in a pinch, Mike came through above and beyond my expectations from beginning to end. I will recommend 4PawsOnWheels to anyone needing to transport.
